- Communication skills in a conflict situation
- De-escalation techniques in conflict situations
- Recognise different patterns of behaviour, and the importance of keeping your distance in conflict situations
- Explain the use of reasonable force as described in law – its limitations and requirements
- Identify the support available to those affected by a violent incident
