This training module will provide participants with an overview of the principles of effective hydration and awareness and prevention of dehydration.

At the end of the module the participant will be able to:

  • Understand their role in relation to the management of patient hydration and awareness and prevention of dehydration.
  • Support patients with their hydration needs and provide them with education to support their understanding of effective hydration and avoidance of dehydration.
