This training module aims to give all participants an overview of the principles of the alternatives to urinary catheters for patients who require a continence appliance
At the end of the session the participants will be able to:
- Understand their role within the assessment process when assessing a patient’s continence
- Understand their role within the management of patients with a bladder/bowel problem
- Care for patients who may require using a continence appliance to assist with continence needs
