Evidence based, competency assessed training resource which aims to increase awareness and knowledge of pressure ulcers with a focus on prevention and improving outcomes.
At the end of the course learners will be able to:

  • Promote a standardised approach, reduce variation and improve quality of care in relation to Pressure Ulcer prevention in Health and Social care settings across the North region
  • Adopt best practice and increase prevention awareness for the protection of vulnerable adults who may be at risk from Pressure Ulcers
  • Improve Health outcomes by embedding React to Red within Quality Improvement Frameworks
