Equality diversity and inclusion in AHP (Educator / Leader)

Not yet rated

Our work ensures that the current and future clinical and non-clinical workforce has the right skills, values, and behaviours.

An essential element of this work is to ensure that we have an effective supply of Allied Health Professionals (AHPs) and our ambition is to prioritise actions that will lead to the reduction of inequalities across the workforce and drive change to increase the diversity of our registered and non-registered AHP workforce in order to best serve our communities.

We start by looking at who we attract into our AHP programmes, how we recruit them onto these programmes, how we improve their experiences as a learner and finally as a newly qualified AHP.

Improving the diversity of our AHP workforce, will improve health inequalities and provide us with diversity of talent and leadership in our future AHP workforce.

On this page you will find a variety of recently funded projects and summaries of our work from which we can learn and evolve.
