NHSE TEL Support: RAMPPS CYP - Recognising and Assessing Medical Problems in Psychiatric Settings - Children and Young People
This module is designed for health and social care staff working with older children and young people (8-18yrs) in psychiatric settings. The purpose of the module is for staff to become familiar with recognising and assessing the deteriorating physical health of children and young people who are being cared for in psychiatric settings. The module focuses on using existing patient safety tools such as ABCDE, AVPU, EWS (Early Warning Scores) and SBARD to provide a structured safe approach.
