NHSE TEL Support: Infant Feeding

This elearning is to assist healthcare professionals and organisations to access education that is appropriate to their role in promoting breastfeeding. As such it aims to develop the knowledge, skills and attitude required to implement internationally recognized best practices in breastfeeding to create a baby-friendly environment.

This elearning consists of five chapters regarding infant feeding:
- Challenges and culture
- Importance of breastfeeding
- Importance of love
- Formula feeding
- Providing unbiased information

It is to be used as a learning tool alongside face to face training of practical skills. It is intended to complement existing training and not to replace it.
