Welcome to the introductory eLearning module Medicines Optimisation Essentials. This introductory module is the first in the series of five modules and is intended as a general and brief overview of medicines optimisation in practice. It focuses on patient safety, multidisciplinary team working and providing patient centred care. It introduces the basic concepts of what happens to patients and their medicines to all staff new to working with medicines.

This module offers support for learning or revision along with a variety of extra learning materials including case studies, activities, factsheets and reflective exercises.
