Videos to support intercultural communication
Programme teams (staff working in education settings) and Practice education teams (educators workingin healthcare placement settings) may like to share peer support videos with international learners during induction and at additional points along the learner journey.
These videos may be shared with programme teams, practice education teams and wider colleagues during staff training or learning opportunities or as part of updates. Staff will benefit from watching the videos as they offer an insight into the lived experience of internationallearners.
Two videos are available, one on internationalexperiences of intercultural communication in the UK and another on top tips for fellow international learners. Watch and share both videos to gain the full benefits from the learning opportunity.
Additional information
Peer support videos offer international staff and learners with support in navigating the intercultural communication issues they might face living, studying and working in the UK. videos are on vimeo and last between 3 and 18 minutes.
