The Nursing Careers in Social Care Toolkit is a high-level resource designed to help you discover the range of diverse and rewarding nursing careers in social care, and how they make a positive impact on individuals' lives.

Whether you are a student, newly qualified nurse or nursing associate, or an experienced nurse developing your career and field of practice; there is something for everyone in social care.

Developed by Skills for Care, the resource contains case studies enabling you to hear from adult, mental health and learning disability nurses, as well as nursing associates working in adult social care posts. It includes information to help you navigate a career in social care, including routes into social care nursing, education support and research opportunities, myth busting, access to other resources and useful links.

Target Audience

Student nurses, newly qualified nurses and nursing associates, experienced nurses interested in social care nursing careers.
