Blood Culture eLearning

Not yet rated

Welcome to this e-learning course on blood cultures. After completing the theoretical part, you must enroll in a practical session at the Simulation and Clinical Skills Centre to demonstrate obtaining a blood culture on a manikin arm using a non-touch technique. You have 6 weeks to complete both the theoretical and practical elements. Only after completing both will you be able to perform blood cultures.
To support this e-learning, it is recommended that you revisit and complete the 382 Venepuncture E-learning (CSL) to stay up-to-date with best practice.
