Background

ReSPECT creates personalisedrecommendations for clinical care inemergencies when a person is unable tocommunicate their wishes(2020).

• Improved documentation of DNACPR discussionsenhances team communication and patientunderstanding of care decisions.

A rapid literature review was undertaken to determine the educational needs of healthcare professionals in the reccomended summary plan for emergency care and treatment (ReSPECT).
