Maternity Telephone Triage

TheMaternity Telephone Triagecourse equips midwives, maternity triage nurses,and other frontline staff with the skills to perform safe, consistent telephone assessment of pregnant and postpartum callers. Through case-based scenarios, structured assessment frameworks and escalation protocols, learners will recognise red flags, provide appropriate self-care advice, and make timely referrals. The course reduces variation in telephone practice, increases clinician confidence, improves patient safety, and supports more efficient use of maternity services.
