This elearning session is designed for healthcare professionals preparing to deliver the ESCAPE-pain programme. It explores the theoretical foundations of ESCAPE-pain including the biomedical and biopsychosocial models, and introduces national guidelines for managing osteoarthritis and non-specific low back pain. Learners will gain the knowledge required to support behavioural change and self-management through group-based rehabilitation, and understand the evidence base supporting ESCAPE-pain's clinical efficacy.
