This resource recommend the following standards to support the delivery of therapeutic endoscopy training.The successful completion of colonic polypectomy requires:

  • Good intubation skills
  • Lesion detection
  • Lesion assessment
  • Complete lesion resection with margin inspection and ablation where appropriate
  • Lesion retrieval
  • Lesion follow-up
