Position statement: colorectal polypectomy
This resource recommend the following standards to support the delivery of therapeutic endoscopy training.The successful completion of colonic polypectomy requires:
- Good intubation skills
- Lesion detection
- Lesion assessment
- Complete lesion resection with margin inspection and ablation where appropriate
- Lesion retrieval
- Lesion follow-up
