NHS Educator Workforce Programme
This programme aims to build a sustainable, high-quality educator workforce across clinical and academic settings to support growing learner numbers. It addresses:
- Capacity challenges: ageing educator demographic, limited protected time, and recruitment difficulties.
- Strategic actions: career pathways for educators, leadership development, recognition of educator roles, and embedding education into workforce planning.
- Resources: webinars, guidance documents, and frameworks for educator capability and impact. Goal: Ensure the NHS has skilled educators to deliver safe, effective training and meet future workforce needs.
