The psychological impact of a neonatal stay

Not yet rated

Bliss and The Relational Practice have collaborated to create a series of short videos explaining the psychological impact of neonatal care.

Dr. Davy Evans is a consultant clinical psychologist with The Relational Practice, providing training, consultation, supervision, and reflective practice across health and social care settings, in particular in the perinatal system. He also works in the NHS, and has spent the last seven years working and leading in neonatal and paediatric services.

This video, which is aimed at supporting healthcare professionals, will look at the relational and psychological impact of a neonatal admission and what can be done to support parents and healthcare professionals. It will explore what babies, families, and staff need on a neonatal unit, what gets in the way, what the consequences of this are and what can help

Our thanks to Dr Davy Evans.
