Conventional Karyotyping For CML
Delivered by Robert Dunn DipRCPath, who leads the Cytogenetics laboratory at King's College Hospital as part of the South East Haematological Malignancy Diagnostic Service (SE-HMDS). The lecture covers the basics of the BCR/ABL1 rearrangement, its variants and methods of detection, and the groups of additional chromosome abnormalities that are detected by karyotyping with their risk association.
