Mouth Care Matters Confidence Questionnaire
We have completed the first week of Mouth Care Matters.
Our first week together has given you an introduction to the course, allowed you to reflect on why mouth care matters and you have gained some core oral health knowledge, related to looking at the inside of your own mouth and how and why we clean our mouths.
You have completed the Mouth Care Matters confidence survey, which will have given you an opportunity to think about your current abilities to deliver mouth care. By completing the course, we will cover those steps that you don't yet feel confident about.
Next week, we will look in detail, about how we examine a person’s mouth, assess their oral health needs and record what we see and agree to do. We will also cover some more of the core oral health knowledge.
