A booklet for people for have experienced delirium, and for their carers. This booklet if for you if you are a relative or carer of someone who has delirium, you are at risk of delirium or you have experienced delirium. This booklet explains:- what delirium is; how to reduce the risk of experiencing delirium; what it is like to have delirium; how it identified and treated. The booklet also describes recommendations in a clinical guideline, about how to reduce the risk of delirium and how to manage it when it occurs in adults.  It applies to all care settings: home, long-term care, hospital and hospice. The clinical guidance is based on what we know from current medical research.
