Machine Learning and Deep Learning

Machine learning (ML) is an umbrella term for different AI systems that can learn from past data to process new data and make predictions, classifications, and decisions.

Deep learning is a subset of machine learning, which itself is a branch of artificial intelligence (AI). It focuses on using algorithms inspired by the structure and function of the brain, called artificial neural networks, to learn from large amounts of data.
