NHS England London Safeguarding Team Conference 2025

Aim 

The conference aims to provide health professionals with tips on how to manage instances where there is a VAWG concern, but statutory safeguarding threshold has not been met and yet a response is still required.  

Objectives 

• Raise awareness regarding current themes within the VAWG and safeguarding space 

• Tips on actions to take when there presumed consent but there is still a danger of harm   

• Encourage professional curiosity regarding VAWG and safeguarding
