Intercultural Awareness Guide and Training for the 0-19 Healthcare Workforce
Kent, Surrey & Sussex Health Innovation Network has worked in partnership with Nafsiyat Intercultural Therapy Centre, NHS England, and the Office for Health Improvement and Disparities (OHID) South East to design and deliver practical, evidence-based training and resources for the NHS.
Our programme includes the original Intercultural Awareness Training, developed for staff across health, social care and local authority services, as well as a new set of resources tailored for the 0–19 workforce, including health visitors, midwives and school nurses.
This work supports our wider ambition to reduce health inequalities and ensure that every family can access safe, compassionate and culturally informed care.
