Leadership programmes

The NHS leadership academy programmes are designed to help everyone in the NHS discover their full leadership potential and achieve the highest standards in health and care. There are several programmes with different areas of focus. It is important to look at what role you are currently in and what your aspirations are to work out which programme may be the best for you to undertake.

Each programme is different in terms of commitment, time and delivery. There will also be both regional and local provision of leadership courses and it is worth seeking out what is available in your area. Speak to leaders in your organisation and neonatal network for support in choosing the right leadership programme for you.
