This e-learning will give you an understanding on the theory of Oxygen Therapy, why the administration of supplemental oxygen is essential and the importance of maintaining target saturation range.

PLEASE NOTE –  The target saturation ranges mentioned in this course will differ to the COVID-19 range, please refer to COVID -19 guidelines for this.

Objectives

By the end of the course you will know:

  • What oxygen therapy is
  • Why and when oxygen is prescribed, taking into account target saturations
  • The different devices used to administer oxygen
  • The importance of monitoring patients
  • About oxygen therapy with the home
