Gender Diversity Training for Primary Care Teams
CPD accredited e-Learning programme is for:
- Health, social care providers and educational professionals including people working in care-homes, hospitals, schools and GP surgeries;
- Medical professionals; and
- Non-clinical staff working in primary care.
Module 1: Healthcare for gender diverse (transgender, non-binary, non-gender) adults. The Training includes definitions of key terms, an overview of treatment and the role of Primary Care with regard to referral pathways, ongoing treatment and monitoring in collaboration with specialised services.
Module 2: Describes the care of gender diverse children and young people and gives an overview of the support and treatment provided to this group. The module also covers Primary Care responsibilities with regard to referral pathways, ongoing treatment and monitoring in collaboration with specialised services.
