An Introduction to Active Cycle of Breathing Techniques (ACBT), Manual Techniques, Postural Drainage, V/Q Matching
Following this training clinicians should be able to demonstrate:
- Knowledge of ACBT, manual techniques, postural drainage and V/Q matching
- Understanding of the indications, precautions and contraindications for each sputum clearance technique
- Knowledge of the basic anatomy and physiology associated with each technique to aid sputum clearance
- The correct technique for effective treatment
