The video shows the formal traditional technique of clinical examination of the abdomen. Learners will be shown the technique and purpose of the steps in this clinical technique.

This system is used as part of the assessment in the acute setting and guides the learner towards potential diagnoses and appropriate investigations. This is part of the management of the patient.
