Tumour Assessment in the Genomic Era 2: Adopting a Systematic Model
Note: This e-learning is currently under review and will be revised in due course. The assessment is not currently available.
Welcome to the HEE Genomics Education Programme'sTumour Assessment in the Genomic Era E-learning
This collection of modules has been developed by Health Education England's Genomics Education Programme, in collaboration with molecular pathology and histopathology experts from across the NHS. It is designed to support NHS staff who are assessing tumour samples going forward for genomic testing. Suitable for histopathologists and biomedical and clinical scientists, there are two e-learning modules and a final assessment.
Tumour Assessment in the Genomic Era 2: Adopting a Systematic Model
This 30-minute session provides step-by-step information on ways you can adopt a systematic model of assessing tumour samples selected for DNA extraction and genomic sequencing.
This module follows on from module 1 The Evidence for a Systematic Approach, a 35-minute session that outlines the principles of, and evidence behind, a systematic method to assess tumour samples selected for DNA extraction and genomic sequencing. We suggest that you complete that module before this one.
Tumour Assessment in the Genomic Era 2: Final Assessment allows learners to test their knowledge by estimating the cellularity and percentage of neoplastic content of a range of tumour samples within a digital pathology environment.
Acknowledgements
