This training is aimed at registered practitioners who are required within their role to deliver intravenous medication.
This Intravenous Therapy Part 1 Workbook and E Learning is the first part of a two part course.
The Intravenous Therapy Part 1 Workbook and E Learning must be completed and passed before staff can attend the Intravenous Therapy Part 2 Maths Test and Practical Assessment which includes a practical competence assessment covering the following:
Care of Lines
Intravenous access
Pharmacy
Accountability and Responsibility for Intravenous Therapy
Infection Control
