Triple-A: Strategies to manage anxiety, attention, and arousal difficulties in autistic and neurodivergent children and young people.
Strategies for working with young people with attention, anxiety, and sensory difficulties. The Triple-A training provides a downloadable package of practical support strategies developed by researchers and practitioners in the Centre for Neurodiversity and Development at Durham University and co-designed with autistic people, parents, and educational practitioners. This short, evidence-based training will help you understand how the environment they’re in affects autistic and neurodivergent children and young people. Whilst targeted at educational professionals and focused on schools, the Triple-A training is relevant to many (parents, educational psychologists, support workers, health professionals, and residential and healthcare settings). It is free and accessible to all – you simply need to register. Of the ~4000 people who have used it:
- 97% would recommend it
- 94% learnt something new
- 97% think it will help them to support autistic and neurodivergent young people
- 81% would change something they do because of the training

Register for free to access the training and save your progress so you don't have to do it in one go. The training is split into three modules and takes 1.5-2 hours in total.
