Spill Prevention and Response
Define the types of spill and identify the correct equipment needed to respond to a spill.
Explain the responsibility that you and others have in the event of a spill.
Be able to explain the potential legal, cost and health & safety implications that may be caused by a spill.
Demonstrate the correct process to follow when a spill is discovered, in response to a spill and in the disposal of spilt oil, fuel or associated waste.
Recognise the contents of a spill kit, how to use them and the procedure to replenish supplies
