Life Beyond the Cubicle - Introduction
To provide educators who facilitate group-based learning with materials and guidance. Every person experiences their crisis differently and therefore these materials, whilst they may not provide new answers, offer clinicians opportunities to reflect on and contemplate familiesʼ perspectives. The development of this resource is underpinned by the belief that good care involves clinicians learning from patients and from patientsʼ family members/ friends/carers to understand individual crises and needs. Where possible, group-based training should include (for all or part of the session) an appropriately trained co-facilitator with lived experience as a family member or friend
