Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) .... as a career
An information leafletcreated specifically to provide insight and information into the role of an ODP, including:
- what the role involves
- where ODPs work
- what sort of work experience may be helpful, and possible,
- entry requirements and routes
- what the training involves, including clinical placements
- example career pathway
It also provides inormation on possible bursary funding as well as links to find out about other Allied Health Professions.
Additional information
AHP colleagues in Somerset created a series of information leaflets to raise awareness of the AHP roles, specifically for those interested in becoming an AHP, including information which may be additional to that obtained from HE providers.
