This module covers how we can make patients safer and make your working day a little easier. Whatever you do, in healthcare, you contribute in some way to the safety of patients. We are going to focus on what we can do to ensure that we are doing the right thing for the right patient at the right time.

This module is split into five sections:

• Introduction to creating patient safety
• How behaviour impacts patient safety
• Right Thing, Right Patient, Right Time
• Speaking up
• Evaluation and summary
Throughout the module, you will cover taking responsibility for safety, understanding how behaviours impact patient safety, doing the right thing for the right patient at the right time and how to speak up, support each other and be approachable.
