Pressure Ulcer Prevention
Pressure Ulcers are not just a modern day problem and historically were referred to as bed sores, pressure sores and decubitus ulcers.
The elderly are a particularly vulnerable group, often suffering with age associated illnesses, co-morbidities and poor mobility. All of which vastly increase their risk of developing pressure ulcers.
