This e-learning course provides essential information about antipsychotics (both first and second generation) via intermuscular injection (IM). This should be completed, along with a medicines competency assessment / your locally trained LAT trainer observing you giving this type of medication. The medicines competency assessment is currently being updated to include specifics around giving long acting treatment via IM.
This course is specifically for Kent and Medway NHS and Social Care Partnership Trust NHSP colleagues andhas been password protected. If you are NHSP working within KMPT please email kmpt.training@nhs.net.
