Blood Transfusion Sampling Refresher
Welcome to the Blood Transfusion Sampling Knowledge Assessment module for
Non-Medical Staff.
This module is for those staff who need to
refreshtheir competency.
If you have not previously done the initial Transfusion Sampling Competency Assessment this module is not suitable for you. Please arrange an assessment with a ward based cascade assessor - speak to your manager or contact the Transfusion Team if you're not sure who this is.
If you do not feel competent in transfusion sampling please speak to your manager and arrange a full competency assessment.
The next section will take you to a series of assessment questions you must answer. Please ensure you read the questions carefully.
Should all criteria be met your ESR records will be updated by the Transfusion Team upon successful completion - please allow up to a week for this.
