Medicines Management Training for Inpatient Mental Health Nurses (Kent and Medway NHS Trust)

This e-learning package is for NHSP and agency colleagues who work within Kent and Medway NHS Trust. It aims to:
- Provide guidance on the safe and secure handling of medications.
- Provide information on commonly used drugs in psychiatry including side effects.
- Provide guidance on how to perform simple drug calculations.
- Inform staff of the physical monitoring requirements required for psychotropic drugs.
- Inform staff when sign-posting is essential and where they should go for information.
This course is specifically for Kent and Medway NHS and Social Care Partnership Trust NHSP colleagues and has been password protected. If you are NHSP working within KMPT please email kmpt.training@nhs.net.
