• This interactive Virtual Reality (VR)360 resource is divided into two parts (Part 1 and Part 2). It provides an immersive learning experience on the procedures and best practices for rapid tranquillisation in mental health settings.
• This innovative course is particularly valuable for training purposes, offering a realistic and engaging learning experience.
• The VR360 resource covers the key stages of the scenario, including patient introduction, medication selection, and communciation & safety elements, aiming to enhance understanding and improve the safety and effectiveness of rapid tranquillisation practices.

Scenario Simulation

• The resource is designed for those new to mental health and focuses on simulating a scenario (Psychosis) where healthcare professionals respond to a patient in an inpatient mental health setting.
• The scenario progresses through de-escalation, physical intervention, and ultimately rapid tranquillisation.
• The training material includes VR360 scenes, expert panel discussions, and pop-up scenes mixed with quiz questions to reinforce learning.
