818 Community Nursing Safe Staffing

Not yet rated

The Community Nursing Safe Staffing Tool (CNSST) is designed to help community nursing teams calculate the appropriate staffing levels based on the volume of work, ensuring better workload management and reducing the risk of burnout.

This training is aimed at community nurses and will guide you through understanding the CNSST, its purpose, and how to use it effectively. You'll learn how to input data into PowerApp, which enables teams to assess the acuity of visits and determine staffing requirements. By comparing funded, actual, and recommended staffing levels, you’ll be equipped to make informed decisions and provide the best care. The training also covers the care descriptors you need to input into PowerApp to ensure accurate staffing recommendations.
