Course Details:
Audience: Staff required to complete a practical assessment for ANTT
Approximate Duration: 30 minutes
By the end of this digital learning programme you will be able to:
- Identify and understand the key principles of ANTT incorporating a risk assessment for standard versus surgical ANTT, glove selection and appropriate use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Define, identify and protect Key-parts and Key-sites
- Understand why non-touch technique is important, even in Surgical ANTT
- Effective decontamination of equipment and skin
- Hand Hygiene/Bare below elbow/ WHO 5 moments
- Prepare staff for practical assessments
