Bioinformatics for T-Cell immunology - Multiomics data integration - Part 2

Not yet rated

Overview:The session introduces the landscape of data integration tools and applications. Highlighting two differing approaches; 1. Multi-staged analysis (biology-driven) and 2. Meta-dimensional analysis (data-driven) approaches. During the practical we will focus on a meta-dimensional analysis approach using MOFA (multi-omic factor analysis) to explore, integrate and characterise different components extracted from a multi-omic dataset.

Learning outcome
By the end of this session you will:

  • Gain an understanding in the two different approaches for multi-omic integration
  • Apply meta-dimensional approach to a datasets
  • Gain confidence in exploring and understand the model we generate
