Implementing change for locally employed doctors at UHDB Trust: Our Fellowship Journey

Not yet rated

This resource will highlight our journey as NHSE Leadership Fellows, to improve the junior doctor experience of LEDs at UHDB Trust. The role of LEDs in future NHS workforce planning was highlighted recently by the GMC, however too often the challenges of LEDs in professional attainment is not fully understood. By pursing transformational leadership roles we were able to understand the desires of LEDs at our trust and provide a series of professional courses and events to help them achieve their goals. This enabled us to give value to these important group of doctors who need to be recognised within the NHS.
