Enhanced EDS Dysphagia Level 2
Following this module, you should:
- To demonstrate an awareness of the 'normal swallow' process
- Demonstrate an understanding of what Dysphagia is and the 'at risk groups'
- To identify signs or symptoms which indicate potential eating, drinking and swallowing difficulties (Dysphagia)
- To have an awareness of the impacts of eating, drinking and swallowing difficulties for the individual and their carers.
- To feel confident with supporting someone who has Dysphagia by following their eating, drinking and swallowing care plan.
- To demonstrate knowledge around the different IDDSI stages and confidence around identifying the different stages
