Diffuse Glioneuronal Tumours with Oligodendroglioma-like features and Nuclear Clusters (DGONC)
DGONC is a relatively new tumour entity with a distinct methylation profile. It now features in the WHO CNS Tumour Classifcation 2021. It is proposed as a neuroepithelial tumour characterised by variably differentiated cells frequently showing perinuclear haloes, scattered multinucleated cells and nuclear clusters. Monosomy of chromosome 14 is a frequent finding. This paper presents a small case series of these tumours.
