Overview
- This module is for District Nurses who are managing the care of patients with a syringe driver. It should only be attempted after attending the initial face to face or virtual session. This module should be completed once each year to maintain competence.
- It will take approximately 1 hour to complete
- At the end of each section there are questions to check understanding
- On successful completion of the module your ESR learning record will be updated
This module is designed to:
- Minimise risk to patients and staff when setting up a syringe driver
- Achieve standardisation of best practice in the use of syringe drivers
