Trauma and Autism
A training video that can be used to train Autism Peer Support Workers, explaining how many autistic people have trauma through instances of bullying, increased care needs, perceptions within society or difficulty navigating environments/settings. Negative life experiences and prolonged diagnosis can lead to accumulative effects and in many instances complex trauma, which social isolation and loneliness can exacerbate.
