Introduction to Supporting the Management of Medicines
This workbook is intended to provide the pharmacy support worker with a variety of tasks and activities that can be completed whilst working in the various areas considered necessary for their role in supporting the management of medicines. When completing this workbook, the training and activities will be provided by each organisation and can be adapted to meet the training needs of each organisation.
Each chapter contains:
Local training topics covering specific information and allowing for variations in each organisations procedures and policies
Practical activities
- Tasks for the candidate to complete
- Essential reading, studies, work
- Evidence gathering and portfolio building (if required)
Additional information
This medicines optimisation training will enable pharmacy support staff to gain the skills, knowledge and experience which underpin an effective medicines management support service.
